The Prince of Wales Country Club was a challenge to live up to the times for which they proposed to offer new services related to leisure and sport and re-enchanting and its partners to promote the informal, and increase the general use during the week.
There were well-established and outdoor facilities so the strategy was to define a platform-level sports resolved underground, and gardens of the north flank of the Club House. In a contemporary language that will not create conflict with the existing architecture of such eclectic turn, the fact of being underground maintains the existing situation of looking at the sports fields from the same building, which represents a value for the architectural design status of the original building site.
The functional unity of the new facilities is from the subway, at your sides, with ramps leading down to the level swimming pool and gym. While in the first level, connection occurs via two bridges, which link the existing building, and sports areas. Read the rest of this entry »
