Palazzo Chiericati is a great building that has a rectangular design. It was designed by Andrea Palladio for accommodating important Vicenza citizen. The building is equipped open loggias on both the piano Nobile and the ground floor. The loggia in the first floor is upstretched five feet above the square. It runs through the whole length of the frontage in eleven bays. The five bays in the central scheme slightly and they are separated from the bays in the side by columns.

Groups of columns on every single corner support the master room on the piano Nobile. It projects to the frontage, creating a couple of loggias. In the front, the tops of the loggias are walled with arched openings bordered by pillars. There are urns and figures above comice; they were added by the builder in the 17th century.

Designed by Italian architect, Domenico da Cortona, Chateau de Chambord is one of the most exciting and interesting chateaux of Loire both from structure and plan. Cortona as architect, created a wooden model as the original but it was altered during the process. Crown Hall Chicago, Illinois is one of the last buildings built by Mies van der Rohe. This building is located on the campus of the Illinois Institute of Technology.
