This is a house of 110m2, developed on two floors, Ichinomiya (Japan) and built almost entirely of concrete, but being seen (without coating) on both front and inside of the house. This is one of those projects for lovers of this material, and especially the minimalist decor, it is the concrete itself which starred almost the entire environment.

This is achieved through the use of structural concrete walls, which in turn are the enclosures housing, properly defined, leaving voids that will eventually have the building, which are quite rare, because all the work is done to ensure much privacy.

The most unique space Mukaiyama House is the kitchen-dining-lounge, where you can see that even the ceilings are left exposed concrete floors because they are built with slabs, while the floor is coated wood the same as the kitchen furniture and doors from the rest of the house. A curious fact in the following image, that space acquires such solemnity that it could be a chapel.

A small drop marks the area of the kitchen and dining room from the rest of this space, with elongated holes, both vertical and horizontal which is just below the kitchen furniture. The central island is designed on two levels, the cooking and sink, and a great top with a wooden board to eat.

The main staircase is made of concrete steps that are embedded at one end in the wall, and the other hanging on the top floor with corrugated steel armor. The ceiling is a skylight to give light to the start of this ladder.

The architecture studio A-cero presents an interior renovation of an apartment located in Ferrol. The house is set in a single plant, which located two bedrooms with bathrooms, living/dining room, kitchen, laundry, toilets and outdoor terrace. The total areas of the plant are 155m2 and 150m2 of terraces.

The hall-dealer accessed from the main entrance of the house. Linking two distinct areas (day area and night area) for an imaginary north-south axis. The lounge / dining room, kitchen and laundry room is located east of the axis, while the sleeping area (bedroom) is the West. Thus, both the room as the master bedroom, but occupy their own space within the zoning forth above, enjoy the same south facing views, this being an important priority for the property and enjoyment of the dwelling.

The terrace offers relaxation areas and seating. Dominated south to enjoy the sun and views, and north used to link this area with the kitchen to have a barbecue area and outdoor dining. The master bedroom suite designed with a dressing room with a total of 40m2.

It has sought, with the proposal, the smooth functioning of housing in relation to the needs of the property as possible to adapt the packaging pre-existing formal and turning the main rooms to the south, looking for a better use of the views of light and heat. The elevations sorted according to a harmonic modulation of the gaps, trying to maximize light and views mentioned above. The living – dining room, has an area of 38m2.

The formal solution has been the result of an aesthetic sought sinuous lines and volumes that play flexing its forms, allowing the enjoyment of the surrounding environment and the pursuit of wealth interior space.

Beauty, strength and usefulness are the keys to the strong housing that we present you throughout the week. A construction of pharaonic dimensions (2.900m2) emerging as a large sculpture in the exclusive area of Madrid “The Lakes of La Finca.”

Continuing the sculptural architecture of A-zero, this time the work of Richard Serra has been the main reference and inspiration to design this residence located in the largest parcel of residential (13. 357m2 of surface area).

The outer walls define the overall picture of housing. The purity of form construction creates a coherent whole with a structure made only by concrete walls where the intermediate pillars disappear and fine materials such as travertine marble, are imposed.

In accordance with the wishes of customer privacy, the house has closed to the outside (the path) through a series of concentric curved walls of natural stone at the same time, generating large spaces and open to the inside of building.

The building comprises three levels: basement, ground floor and first level. The interior layout was organized looking for maximum functionality and comfort of the owners, so that the master bedroom and all rooms used by the owners are located at the level of access.

Attached to the main residence is located a house for the service (on the left side of the picture). This second part is integrated into the volume with surround curved walls that mark the outdoor unit of the project and defining the open space inside.

Finally, include the natural environment of the property: a landscape with lawns and lush pine tree mass, strawberry trees and beds of rosemary and lavender blend with the smooth and spectacular forms of housing.

We introduce a residential project located in the municipality of Santander de Somo. The house is located on a plot of 2.204m2 with irregular polygon and high slope that reaches up to 17m in height in just 55m of travel.

The initial idea is to integrate the building in the fantastic environment conducive to the riverbank.

The slope, which could pose a problem becomes an advantage because it allows the housing close to the north and open to views of the South to protect it from cold and open it to light. According to this gap, the project composed into three levels: basement, ground floor and first level.

The construction is a series of windows that minimize the boundaries between interior and exterior.

The project evolves linked to these conditions by a simple set of volumes, a longitudinal axis intersects two parallel volumes at different heights and they meet the volume and distribution of property.

The benchmark of housing is a large horizontal at two heights.

The dominant materials are wood, glass and cement, although the building has been covered with Naturvex skin in shades of gray.

Today we move to an exclusive area of Barcelona to present a new dwelling as amended by A-cero. This is a large house (1690m2 area) that is being built today.

Spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea could be seen from the parcel of property, have been exploited to the maximum with the design of a residence fully committed to the landscape.

To this end, the back wall was closed in its entirety with large windows that make the environment part of the house and cancel the boundary between indoors and outdoors.

The house, clad in travertine marble, plans on four levels (basement, under the first and second floor) adapted to the slope of the land where the building sits.

The house has been built at five feet below street level, on a small lot in a very irregular. The main priority in the design was to create parking space for one car. To meet this requirement has built a platform with a steel material similar to a network.

The driveway is placed on the basement level, next to the stairs leading from where the car. Upon entering the house, there is a flight of stairs to the family area, two bedrooms and a bathroom at the end.

The interior space features furniture suspended within a concept of open design that maximizes the use of limited space. The ground floor has a spacious environment in which the dining table hangs from the ceiling.

In this reform and expansion of a house by the studio A-cero, led by J. Torres, R. The house was in a state of disrepair and neglect so that the studio has decided to give it a second chance to recover and all its light Mediterranean.

Housing is arranged on two floors high and low, spreading the floor in three pieces: guests, children and service, united by a common area consisting of lounge, dining room and connected to the upper floor where the bedroom main bathroom and dressing.

An interesting set of porches and terraces embrace the courtyard. Reduced in the intervention corridors, organizing the continuous stay in space, which is of particular attention by introducing warm lighting and cold sources and giving prominence to the indirect light that gives harmonious and serene environment.

Have been respected original facade elements such as balconies, replacing the traditional iron railing for a glass, continuing the pattern of the stairs and wrapping the house in this popular Andalusian architectural design sense, patios and corners, restful and chat.

It uses the figure of the tree to create holes in the porch. The mud floor of the courtyard and the perimeter around the house has been replaced by pine beams cuperizado acting as a link between the wood inside and outside.

Light and shade, coolness and heat result in a functional architecture of pure lines topped by a careful choice of materials, colors and textures.

It is a building of 1437.49 m2 situated on the outskirts of Madrid on a large plot with an average slope that has been used to organize the construction in three levels and integrating the best in the environment.

ELEVATION
Looking for this integration of the construction with the natural landscape surrounding it, raises a roof garden with trees.

In lower level is located housing the garage, a lobby-dealer, game room, indoor pool, the pool locker room, cellar, storage room, the gardener, toilet facilities and three quarters.

BASEMENT
On the ground floor rooms are distributed as follows: entrance porch, hall, bathroom, dressing room, dining room, kitchen, four bedrooms with their respective bathrooms, provider of the bedrooms, garage and motorcycle exhibition laundry-utility room.

GROUND FLOOR
Outside the bedrooms can be seen as a series of architectural design blocks that occur online.

Finally, the floor is a distributor, an office, library and master bedroom with sitting room, dressing room and bathroom.

FIRST FLOOR
