The initial idea of this project is to integrate housing in the natural environment in the residential area that is, directing the superb views of lakes and tree extensions that extend the areas of urbanization.

The project evolves linked to these conditions with a resounding two-volume set, rectangular, forming a very simple scheme. In this way, solve the building with clean finishes, select materials and unique qualities.

The porches and pergolas, volumetric elements such as housing give personality to the facade. The roof disappears as such became a flat roof as an expression of the evolution of the creative process. The purity of form moves to the construction schedule, materials and environment by promoting the connection between the building and the context in which it is located. The secret lounge at Floor 7…

Consider yourselves now on the inside track! Hidden far within labyrinthine corridors of the “arts floor” (Floor 7) of the Seneca Industrial Center is a fabulous little lounge, replete with La-Z-Boy and card table. According to sources, this groovy space is hipster central at the Larkin District.

The small space, set aside for late-night chill time and crack-of-dawn cups o’ Joe, is like the sacred communal ground of the building’s so-called Arts Floor, home to a community of art studios, furniture manufacturers, and Buffalo’s leading set designers.
